Hi! I'm Nichole
I’m the CrAzY behind both my camera and Mates of Soul Collective! My passion for photography is rooted around the idea that people don’t place enough importance on the time we have here on earth. I know it sounds cliche, but life is short! Maybe it’s the photographer in me but too many candid, in-the-moment, beautiful memories go unseen. Call it a superpower, and nothing lights me up more than capturing the big moments, but it's the overlooked, in-between-the-line ones that make me screech with giddiness and jump up and down!
Mates of Soul’s mission is to capture the magic that’s happening in your life. Whether it's the hysterical laughter with your best friend, the way you look into your partner’s eyes, the way the sunset reflects onto your skin, the sound of the birds chirping or the smell of the ocean from the beach-these are the memories you should want to bottle up and keep for a lifetime — and that’s where I come in. What once started as an hobby-like obsession has turned into a full blown love-fulfilling business and I can’t wait for you to be apart of it with me.

As a Wedding Planner, I recognize the crucial nature of the relationship between a planner and a photographer in bringing couples' dream days to life. In October 2023, I had the privilege of collaborating with Nichole under challenging circumstances when a bride's photographer unexpectedly withdrew on the wedding day without a backup plan or prior notice. Instead of delivering the disheartening news with no solution, I spent two hours that morning searching for a replacement. Fortuitously, I contacted Nichole, and to my relief, her immediate response was not centered around budget inquiries such as "What's their budget?" or "How much are they willing to spend?" Instead, she compassionately stated, "Send the address and details. I'll be there ASAP because no bride deserves to be without pictures on their wedding day." Nichole's swift action and selfless attitude truly saved the day for the bride and groom, who were ecstatic with the photos. This incident not only showcases Nichole's exceptional work but also underscores her outstanding character. Despite reaching out to numerous photographers, she was the sole individual who demonstrated genuine empathy for the situation. Nichole's approach was marked by a delightful and relaxed demeanor, earning her widespread acclaim from everyone at the wedding. The resulting pictures not only exceeded the couple's expectations but also surpassed what they had initially envisioned from their original photographer. The entire situation unfolded seamlessly, and I am wholeheartedly recommending Nichole to everyone indefinitely. From a wedding planner's perspective, if you need a photographer, she is unequivocally the person to choose. Thank you, Nichole, for everything!

Just AMAZING!!!! We have so many great things to say about Nichole and we are so lucky we found her!! Nichole shot our engagement photos and we loved every single one and knew she was the right choice for our wedding! She is such a caring soul and went above and beyond to make sure that every request we had was taken care of!
